Cast & Creatives

Written by Georges Feydeau in 1907, A Flea In Her Ear is a classic farce, packed with mistaken identities, bruised egos and comic disaster.

A Flea In Her Ear is a comedy of errors set against a backdrop of jealousy, misunderstandings and confrontation. It tells the story of Raymonde who, suspecting her husband Victor of having an affair, enlists the help of a friend to set a trap.

Raymonde is played by Lisa Dillon. A regular on the London stage in recent years, Dillon’s credits include When The Rain Stops Falling, Under The Blue Sky, The Hour We Knew Nothing Of Each Other and Coward’s Present Laughter.

Dillon is joined in A Flea In Her Ear by Tom Hollander, an actor described by Old Vic Artistic Director Kevin Spacey as, “one of the finest and funniest leading actors of his generation”. Hollander’s screen credits include Rev, Desperate Romantics, In The Loop and Pirates Of The Caribbean 2 & 3.

A Flea In Her Ear is directed by Richard Eyre, the former Director of the National Theatre.
