Up The West End

WHAT'S HOT: The critics are losing their heads over ANNE BOLEYN at the Globe: mostly 4s. Few "hats off" to THE PRINCE OF HOMBURG at the Donmar: 2s and 3s. DANTON'S DEATH shows the critics to be far more impervious to boredom than the bloggers. A bit hit for the Young Vic with THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE, 3s for the new Peter Nichols - LINGUA FRANCA - at the Finborough. Mixed feelings about ASPECTS OF LOVE at the Menier. High praise for Roger Allam's Falstaff and indeed the entire productions of HENRY IV PART 1 and PART 2. s.
